Explore Historical Landmarks

This excursion will guide you to selected historical sites, including the border markers from the Treaty of Nystad atop Haukkavuori, the bunkers of the Salpa Line, 18th-century fortress systems, and the surroundings of ancient canals, as well as border museums and former military airfields. Each of these locations is picked based on your group’s preferences and the season, with every site telling its own unique story as part of Finland’s rich history.

During the forest trek, you will hear captivating stories linked to old villages and homesteads—folk tales and ghost stories passed down through generations that bring history to life and make it accessible. The "Our Footprint in Nature" excursion can be conducted with various themes depending on the season. The duration is 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the chosen destination. Please check availability in the event calendar.

The excursion destinations may vary, and the location can also be selected based on requests. The excursion is suitable for all ages, and it can be made accessible if necessary. The starting point depends on the location, and participants will be informed separately. Please note that participants must have their own weather-appropriate gear and footwear.

Participant Count and Pricing

The maximum number of participants for the "Our Footprint in Nature" excursion is 20 people. The excursion can also be organized for larger groups as an event. Please request a separate offer for larger groups here. The minimum charge for the excursion is 540 €.

Cancellation policy

• The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 21 days before the booked date.
• If the cancellation occurs between 7 and 20 days before the booked date, 50% of the total booking price will be charged.
• If the cancellation takes place less than 7 days before the booked date, the full amount of the booking will be charged.
• CreativeKaiku reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the reservation no later than two weeks prior to the booked date.
